Eli always used to tell me that it's people like me that raise the insurance rates for everbody else. I always countered with an argument that involved something along the lines of why have insurance if you never use it? I'm sure there was a kernel of truth on both sides and let's just say I'm putting both to the test right now.
In the last couple days, I've been told that:
- I don't have to have allergy SHOTS after about 15 years! But, suddenly, my allergies have morphed from molds & pollens to . . . peanuts & soy beans!
- I "might" have OCULAR THYROID DISEASE and need to see an opthamologist ASAP.
- I "might" have EYELID-SPECIFIC ECZEMA and need to see a dermatologist ASAP.
The only thing I know for sure right now is that I:
- Am loving my new dining room table (CostPlus World Market = fab).
Have to take the Beetle in to get a headlight replaced very early tomorrow.
- Have a giganto baked potato calling my name from my kitchen. I am about to load it with an equally large portions of both cottage cheese and Safeway's "Mexican Four-Cheese Blend." Peanuts and soy beans . . . who needs you.
