DELICIOUSLY DAZED IN DAHAB

Last few days have been best of trip thus far . . . wandering awestruck through Petra and clinging to a donkey while going up steep stone steps to the monastery there, dangerously bouncing around in the back of a jeep in Wadi Rum and drinking tea while the sun sank behind the rock formations, smoking sheeshas like there's no tomorrow, punch party (of the alcoholic variety) at a Bedouin camp under the stars with only the occasional train chugging by in the distance to break the deep desert silence, hanging out by the Red Sea in Dahab. Life, you are velly velly good to me.

We head to St. Catherine's Monastery and Mt.Sinai tomorrow, then Cairo, then I am off to Kenya/Masai Mara.
