Is currently Hot and Humid. Which is completely and totally Horrible in my book. But I have also been guzzling lots of refreshing wine spritzers and icy vodka drinks. Which sometimes introduces a fourth or even fifth "H" word to the equation . . . Happy + occasionally Hazy.
I got away to the Berkshires for the 4th. That was lovely. Until the ride home. The bus driver got lost on the way to the train station. Yes, let me repeat that. The BUS driver got LOST on the way to the train station. We missed our connection and had to hang out on a barren platform in the middle of nowhere in the Hot and Humid Horribleness (see above). Without benefit of facilities - or even bathrooms - which would allow one to become either Happy OR Hazy (see above). For 2-1/2 hours. That introduced a sixth "H" word. Hellish:-)
