AGONDA, HOW DO I LOVE THEE?

Let me count the ways . . .
  • Beautiful uncrowded beaches
  • Thatched hut that is right on the crashing ocean
  • Rain showers (both from the skies & from the bathroom ceiling)
  • Delicious food & friendly people
  • Strong cocktails with no hangovers
  • A sarong that actually looks good on me
  • Incredibly cheap prices on everything
  • Two full days/three nights to truly unwind & enjoy

We arrived in Southern Goa early evening of December 19. A sad start to the day since I had to say goodbye to my Dad. His leg of the journey is over and everyone misses him tons. Short but delayed flight from Mumbai to Goa, full of screaming children. Gorgeous drive through lush tropics to Agonda, just in time to see the most amazing sunset you can imagine. It has been such a treat to be here and absolutely love everything about it.

Off to load five cases of Kingfisher beer on the truck and buy a new skirt/dress . . .
