Sounds like the vicious Indian monkeys may indeed justify my still-unreimbursed rabies shots, as a "senior government official" in New Delhi was just attacked by a bunch on his home balcony and died in a fall trying to escape them. (And did I mention that those rabies shots were SEVEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS???? Damn, I could have an awesome new Coach bag from the Fall Collection for that much money.)
Sounds like my five-year supply of extra-strength Immodium may indeed come in handy given a virulent diarrhea outbreak in Nepal. (I know that's gross and actually tragic, but - as discussed at length and in GREAT detail with some readers - C.A.'s MUST be avoided at all costs, especially when one is responsible for digging one's own WC.)
I will be posting some "preliminary packing" pix in a couple of days so you can laugh at what I think is mandatory gear. If anyone has instructions for the following, please e-mail me/comment on the following:
- Easy card games,
- Easy dice games,
- Easy recipes that don't rely on beef/pork and that can feed like 25 people. (Yes, part of my trip does require that I & a small group of fellow travelers shop for and prepare meals for the whole truckload of campers.)
